PORTLAND, OR - On Friday, local law enforcement officials and politicians gathered to vow that there would be an "all hands on deck" approach to fighting the rising tide of gun violence in Portland and the surrounding communities. While no one doubts their sincerity, it's clear that someone forgot to tell the people with the guns.

Portland police report that over the weekend there were 16 shootings. If there's a silver lining, it's that despite that many shootings, only 10 people were injured.

And only one person was killed.
