Portland Shooting Leads To Discovery Of Dead Man In Eliot Area

Portland Police say that they found a dead man while reporting to reports of a shooting.

PORTLAND, OR — A man was found dead Monday night in the Eliot neighborhood. He was found by police who had been called to the area of Northeast Ivy Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 11 p.m.

There had been reports of a shooting.

Police have not released any information about the victim other than he's a man and he's dead. No word on cause, only that it will be determined by the medical examiner.
