Portland Skateboarder Killed In Hit And Run, Police Seek Driver

A skateboarder was killed Saturday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash. Portland Police are looking for the driver.

PORTLAND, OR – A skateboarder is dead. Portland Police want to know who is responsible.

It was around 2 p.m. on Saturday.

A skateboarder was in the area of North Interstate and North Mississippi when a car sped by, hitting him. The car fled the area.

A passerby tried to administer CPR and save the person.

It was too late. EMTs arrived soon after and pronounced the skateboarder dead.

As of Saturday night, the police had not released the name of the skateboarder or a description of the vehicle.
