Portland Weather Warning: Storm Major Should Move In Late Morning
The National Weather Service says that while the storm will be most intense offshore and by the coast, the metro can expect a wallop.

PORTLAND, OR — Sunday is going to be extremely gusty, extremely wet, and potentially dangerous. A major storm is moving up the Oregon Coast, forecast to be headed toward British Columbia. The National Weather Service is calling it a "bomb" because of the explosive power that the storm can bring.
While the storm is expected to be centered on the coast where tornadoes are a possibility, Portland and the rest of the metro area is going to see a lot of rain and gusts of winds possibly surpassing 35 miles per hour.
