PORTLAND, OR — No one was injured when a home was destroyed by fire early Tuesday. Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue says that their units arrived on the 18000 block of Northwest Skyline Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. after the homeowners and their neighbors called 911.

The fire had started in the garage and quickly spread to the home.

Because the home was in a rural area, firefighters had to use special trucks to bring water to the scene. The trucks, called water tenders, can transport up to 3,000 gallons of water.
