Several jurisdictions wish to speak with Mazur, the detective said: "There's going to be a lot of discussions among prosecutors about how to proceed."
Police arrested Mazur outside an apartment in the 200 block of North Hayden Bay Drive, where they had followed him after receiving reports of a robbery at a bar on North Lombard Street, police said.
Mazur surrendered to police after four hours of negotiation with the Crisis Negotiaton Team and the Special Emergency Reaction Team, police said. Police took a replica handgun into evidence, they said.
Mazur had shaved his head, police said.
