- Dozens of tow truck drivers in and around the Portland area hosted an awareness event to raise awareness about the Move Over law after a Portland tow truck driver remains in the hospital weeks after being hit by another tow truck driver while working. The Move Over law requires that drivers must either slow down to 5 miles per hour below the posted speed limit, or they must move over a lane when passing a car on the side of the road with flashing lights. - The Mysti Krewe of Nimbus hosted its 12th annual Mardi Gras ball to kick off Mardi Gras celebrations this past Saturday night at the Wonder Ballroom. Hundreds of attendees dressed in Mardi Gras costumes and danced to New Orleans-style jazz bands. (Fox 12 Oregon)
- Local 10-year-old Lilly Ryder was surprised during Portland Fan Expo with a custom wheelchair built for her by volunteers of Magic Wheelchair. Ryder is a "superfan" of the character Princess Peach, and the wheelchair was designed accordingly to match Ryder's favorite character. (KOIN.com)
