TriMet Announces Masks Optional On Buses, Trains After Judge's Ruling
Masks are now optional on all TriMet buses and trains. The agency is going around taking down all the "masks required" signs.

PORTLAND, OR — TriMet's requirement that people wear masks while riding their buses and trains is a thing of the past. For now, anyway.
The agency announced Tuesday morning that in light of a federal judge's ruling in Florida invalidating masking requirements for transportation systems, they would no longer be able to enforce the requirement.
"We thank our riders for their patience and their understanding as we work to follow the new federal guidance and make this transition," they said in a statement.
