U.S. Marshals Involved In Shooting In Southeast Portland, 2 Injured
Two people were injured in a shooting involving United States Marshals Monday afternoon in Southeast Portland.
PORTLAND, OR — Two people were shot in an incident involving United States Marshals, Portland police announced Monday afternoon. The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. at the Buckman Heights Apartments by the corner of Southeast 11th Avenue and Ash Street.
Police said that the marshals had been conducting an operation looking for a person wanted in Washington state for about 4 hours when the shooting happened. Two men were injured during the operations, they added.
One of the people was seriously injured and the other suffered a minor injury, according to police. They said that both were rushed to hospitals by ambulance.

No law enforcement personnel were injured during the incident, according to police.
Roads in the area were closed for several hours.
