Comedian Bob Saget, Who Died This Week, Was To Perform At the Keswick Theatre In March

Comedian Bob Saget, who passed away this week at age 65, is being remembered as a Philly-born, Montgomery County-raised local guy.

GREATER PHILADELPHIA, PA — Bob Saget, the beloved comedian who was the star of TV's Full House in the 1980s who passed away this week at the age of 65, is being remembered as a guy with local roots who was born in Philadelphia and attended high school in Montgomery County.

Saget, who was a 1974 graduate of Abington High School and went on to attend Temple University in the city, was recently featured in a news segment on NBC 10 Philadelphia, which spoke to folks from our area about Saget's connection to the Greater Philadelphia community.
