Bomb Threat Reported At Cheltenham School. Find Out Which One
Schools Superintendent Brian W. Scriven said the threat was directed toward Cedarbrook Middle School.
CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Police will be present on Friday after a bomb threat was made toward Cedarbrook Middle School, officials said.
Schools Superintendent Brian W. Scriven emailed the Cheltenham school community early Friday morning to alert them that a Safe2Safe report of the potential threat came in at 8 p.m. Thursday.
The superintendent said that the Cheltenham Township Police Department was contacted and was at the school conducting an investigation. He said that police interviewed key names mentioned in the report.

Meanwhile, Scriven said that the Montgomery County Bomb Squad and its dogs were brought in to assess the situation out of caution.
The superintendent said that police deemed the threat non-credible and cleared the school at 12:04 a.m. to open on Friday.

Scriven thanked parents and guardians for using the Safe2Say reporting system to inform the school district about threats and reminded them that it is important to report when you see something suspicious.
