CHELTENHAM, PA — The township is reportedly seeking to recoup hundreds of thousands of dollars it claims were overpaid to an engineering firm that is said to have overbilled many of its clients, according to legal news reports.

Cheltenham is suing Boucher & James, Inc. and other defendants over payments the township said it made between 2012 and 2018 that were based on a substantial number of invoices that were later determined to contain discrepancies and irregularities, according to a report on the Pennsylvania Record. Suit was originally filed in the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court and later removed to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
