Why are you seeking elective office?

The Abington Community is dear to me. I have previously served the community in various ways and I would like to continue to do so.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Voter education. I intend to keep voters up to date with any changes to voter laws and or polling location throughout the 6 year term. So no one is denied their right to vote.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I plan to to have the constables and election day deputy constables easily identified with contact information available to the residents for any questions or concerns.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

Working with the public in very stressful situations I know how important it is to gain and keep people's trust. Along with the need to be available and approachable to everyone.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have held various positions in management in both hospitals and in a fortune 500 company. I have been an emergency room nurse and a officer in the Army Reserve and I am comfortable relating to people in stressful situations and I have the ability to utilize therapeutic communication skills which I have learned in my practice.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Don't judge. Don't assume.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I have extensive background in emergency management, Honorably discharged First Lt U.S Army Reserve. In my roles of coaching children's soccer teams, PTO president of McKinley and mission trips with teenager's I appreciate the diversity within the community and my ability to have working relationships with citizens of all backgrounds.
