Why are you seeking elective office?

I want to continue to work to improve Abington Township parks and economic development strategy.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Providing cost effective township services while commercial tax revenues decline. We need to focus on our economic development strategy to ensure that our businesses succeed which in turn will off set the need for further property tax increases.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I will not say anything negative about my opponent. I do not know her or her positions well. I have a well developed record of service and dedication to Glenside and Abington Township. I began my service as Josh Shapiro's chief of staff in 2004, and I am proud to continue to work for the people of Abington Township as Commissioner. I truly enjoy meeting and speaking with the residents of my ward, and I hope to have the opportunity to continue work with them to build an even better community.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

As Chair of the Finance Committee, my efforts to balance the township budget during the pandemic without raising taxes demonstrates my ability to solve challenging problems and to make difficult decisions for the benefit of the community.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

You cannot make everyone happy.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Just as I did in my first election, I have been knocking on doors in Ward 12 for the past several months. I have enjoyed re-connecting with so many neighbors after the isolation of the pandemic. Thank you for taking the time to speak with me. Should you have any further questions about me or my campaign, do not hesitate to call my cell phone at 215-260-0090.
