Why are you seeking elective office?
I am seeking elected office in order to continue to serve the residents of Abington with transparency and integrity. The role of Constable serves a vital function in the Commonwealth by ensuring that no qualified elector is denied their right to vote as well as maintaining order at the polls.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Voter integrity. I plan on ensuring that no qualified elector is prevented from casting their vote at the polls by keeping up to date with election laws and applying them in a fair and unbiased manner.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
In the performance of my duties as Constable over the last 6 years, I strive to be fair, considerate, and transparent with Abington residents knowing it can effect them and their lives. During my time as Constable I have a proven track record of serving the Abington community with honesty and integrity.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
N/A
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
Helping people on a day to to day basis to get through problems that we help mediate in a fair and transparent way.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
In the 6 years I have been serving as Constable I have never had a complaint with any one that I have dealt with in relation to my duties as Constable.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Listen and think before you speak and be honest in your dealing with others.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I have spent the majority of my life as a resident of Abington and have a history of service to the community and I look forward to the opportunity to earn another term as one of the Constables for Abington Township.
