The Greater Glenside Patiotic Association ended its day-long Independence Day celebration with fireworks over Abington Senior High School.
Hundreds of people took up space behind Schwarzman Stadium to check out the display, which lasted about 25 minutes.
The day's events cost about $50,000; the non-profit GGPA pays for the entire event with the help of donations.
