Among the oldest, consecutively run July 4 marches in America, the 110th annual parade will step off at 4 p.m. from VFW Post 676, and will take a 1.5-mile route through the Glenside business district along Easton Road. GGPA officials call the event a “big city parade in a small town, real Americana setting."
The celebration's finale will be an after-dark “America the Beautiful” aerial fireworks spectacular to be launched at about 9 p.m. from the Abington Township maintenance yard off of Florey Lane.
