PA Superior Court Upholds 13-To-28-Year Sentence In Abington gun and drug case: A three-judge appellate court panel affirmed the prison sentence of a man convicted in 2019 on various drug and gun charges. He had argued warrantless search of the Abington home but the court found exigent circumstances existed.

2. Plymouth Township Police K9s Get 'Blessed': Plymouth police canines took part in a 'Blessing of the Animals' ceremony conducted by a faith group behind the Plymouth Meeting Mall.

3. Lansdale Police Investigate Gunshot Inside Home: Police were investigating a bullet that was fired inside a local home during a disturbance.

4. Perkiomen Fire Co. Receives Donation From Nonprofit: 'Invest in Others,' which gives money to financial advisors for their work with the communities, gave $2,500 to one of the volunteer fire company's leaders — he works by day as a financial advisor.

5. ALDI To Open Eighth Retail Location In Montgomery County: The grocery chain ALDI will be opening a location in Conshohocken on Oct. 14. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for opening day.
