Patricia J. Christiansen, Former Medical Secretary in Abington, Dies at 56
Christiansen was a Montgomery County Community College grad and worked in Abington.

Patricia J. Christiansen of Zionhill, died Sunday, March 31 at her residence. She was 56.
Born in Abington, she was the daughter of Bertha Mae Jahn (neé Schiefer) and the late Walter R. Jahn. She is survived by her fiancé, Raymond D’Ambrosio; her children, Fletcher Christiansen and Chelsea Christiansen; her siblings, Richard Jahn and Nancy Devine; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Christiansen.
Christiansen graduated from Hatboro Horsham High School in 1974 and from Montgomery County Community College in 1976 with a degree as a medical secretary. After school, Christiansen began her working career with Martin Frank, MD at his cardiology practice in Abington. Her career next took her to the Plastic Surgeons Professional Group in Allentown where she worked as an office manager for 24 years.

Christiansen was an active member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zionhill where she was a member of the altar guild.

A viewing will be held Friday, April 5 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, 411 Susquehanna Road, Ambler. A graveside service will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
The Rev. Dyan Lawlor, lead pastor of Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, and the Rev. James Saboe, pastor of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Chruch, will officiate.
Donations may be made in her memory to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2966 Old Bethlehem Pike, Zionhill, PA 18981.
Arrangements are by Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove.
