Southampton Man Charged with PWID in Abington
The man allegedly had marijuana in his possession, as well as the stuff to package it.

Abington Police earlier this month arrested a Southampton man after he was found to have marijuana and baggies in his possession, according to police.
Brian Wladyka, 19, of the unit block of Boxwood Road, was arrested June 4, shortly before 1 p.m. following a traffic stop in the corner of Thompson and Kruger roads, in which he was a passenger.
Wladyka was unsteady on his feet, lethargic, had bloodshot eyes and admitted to smoking marijuana earlier in the day, police said. Following a search, police found a black backpack donning a Philadelphia Eagles logo in the area in which Wladyka was sitting.

According to police, the backpack contained a large Hefty baggie, which contained three clear sandwich bags of suspected marijuana; one clear Ziploc bag of suspected marijuana; several pills; a purple and black switchblade knife; and 54 unused, clear zip locked bags, which were “of the same variety of those packaging the marijuana.”
Police also found $463 in Wladyka’s wallet.

According to police, Wladyka admitted to owning the backpack. He was taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to deliver and related charges. He will be formally arraigned July 31.
Wladyka was also arrested in May 2012 and June 2012, both times in Hatboro for DUI, according to court documents; and was arrested in February 2012 in Upper Moreland and charged with receiving stolen property.
