Thirteen-Foot Tall Truck, 12-Foot Tall Bridge on Camphill Road

A Virginia man makes a wrong turn, crashing a box truck into a railroad bridge overpass.

Neighboring Upper Dublin Police Officers responded to a crash at the Norfolk Southern Rail Overpass at Camphill Road earlier this month

According to the police report, on June 11, a 13-foot-tall box truck hit the bridge, which was marked with a posted clearance of 11 feet, 9 inches, "shearing the roof off the rented Penske truck."

The driver, Michael Milhelm, of Powhatan, Va., told police he must have made a wrong turn heading back to the Best Western Hotel and in turn, wound up hitting the bridge.
