Penn State Grad And On-Air Reporter Hit By Car Speaks About Ordeal To Alma Mater

Tori Yorgey, the reporter hit by a car during an on-air segment, is a Plymouth Meeting native who graduated from Penn State University.

ABINGTON, PA — The television news reporter whose ordeal of getting hit by a car during a live broadcast captivated audiences far and wide recently spoke to Penn State Abington, from which she obtained a journalism degree back in 2018.

Tori Yorgey, who is a graduate of Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School, also in Montgomery County, is featured in an article on Penn State Abington's website. In the piece, she speaks about her past studies, her career, and that fateful on-air report in which she was struck by a vehicle while filming a segment in West Virginia.
