A Pennsylvania judge says Elon Musk's $1 million-a-day voter sweepstakes can continue, according to sources. The ruling, made Monday by Common Pleas Court Judge Angelo Foglietta, was in response to a suit filed last week by the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.

The judge made the ruling Monday after Musk's lawyers said the winners are not chosen by chance, NBC10 reported. “We know exactly who will be announced as the $1 million recipient today and tomorrow," a lawyer for Musk said, according to the outlet.

No further details on the decision were immediately available.

The DA's office filed a civil action on Oct. 28 to prohibit Musk's America PAC from giving away $1 million to certain registered voters.

Under the PAC's giveaway, those who are registered voters and who sign a First and Second Amendment pledge though the PAC are automatically entered the lottery offered by the world's richest man, who in recent months has reversed his opinion on former President Donald Trump and thrown his full support behind the 45th president.

Payments are specifically targeting citizens in Pennsylvania, but are also being sent to voters in Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina.

"This civil action neither precludes nor requires potential future action under Pennsylvania criminal law," the DA said in a statement when filing the suit. "The Philadelphia DA will litigate the factual allegations and legal arguments that underlie today’s filing on the record and in court."
