Instrumental and voice students at the Ambler Music Academy will perform in a series of seven recitals on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15 at their location at 351 E Butler Avenue in Ambler.  These seven recitals, which are free and open to the public, will be held on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and throughout the day on Saturday with the first recital beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the last concert at 5 p.m.

Over 130 Academy students, ranging in age from three to eighty years old, will perform a solo piece of their choosing for their family, friends and community members.  “These concerts provide an opportunity for all of our students to gain confidence and self-esteem in a positive performing atmosphere,” says Academy Director and Violin/Viola Instructor Andrew Hoy. “We would love to have community members share in our weekend of uplifting music performance and fun.” The recitals feature students performing on a variety of instruments, including piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, guitar and flute, and in a variety of styles, from classical to folk, from jazz to musical theater and contemporary.
