Ambler Police Make a Pair of DUI Arrests
Police arrested a 35-year-old Blue Bell man and a 35-year-old Jenkintown woman for DUI in separate incidents.

DUI: On May 3 at 2:51 a.m., Antoinette M. Cahill, 35, of Jenkintown, was arrested and charged with DUI, accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle, and careless driving, after police observed a vehicle that was allegedly illegally parked with damage to the front tire at the intersection of Church Street and Rosemary Avenue.
The report noted that the officer could smell alcohol on Cahill, and his eyes were bloodshit. Cahill allegedly admitted to striking a parked vehicle, and failed two of the three field sobriety tests.

Her blood-alcohol content reportedly registered .13-percent. She was placed into custody, processed and later released.
DUI: On April 27 at 12:34 a.m., William Ramos, 35, of the 900 block of Valleybrook Road, Blue Bell, was arrested after police were dispatched for a vehicle accident involving a vehicle that collided into a parked vehicle.

The report states that when police made contact with Ramos, he showed signs of intoxication including bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Ramos allegedly failed all three field sobriety tests and his blood-alcohol content registered .14-percent.
He was taken into custody, and transported to Mercy Suburban Hospital for blood testing. Ramos was later transported to his residence, and charges are pending the results of the blood test..
