Blue Bell, Pa.– Theresa Wootten began working as a caregiver at Blue Bell Place 22 years ago, when the community first opened. Over the years, she has built strong connections with the residents and calls them her extended family.

Wootten loves spending time with the residents and is known to visit the Watermark retirement community even on her days off. She regularly brings her two grandchildren to the community’s events and holiday celebrations so they, too, can join in on the fun and build meaningful relationships with the residents.

Wootten and her fellow associates help make Blue Bell Place an exceptional community. Their efforts to go above and beyond – and do so with genuine care and compassion – was recently recognized during Employee Appreciation Day on March 7. Each associate received a plaque as a token of the community’s appreciation and enjoyed a special Chick-fil-A lunch and sweets table. The community also decorated for the festive day with a banner and balloons.
