Blue Bell Place kicks off a season of giving
Residents start the season by supporting children in need through Watermark for Kids and Toys for Tots charities
Blue Bell, Pa. – Residents of Blue Bell Place, a Watermark Retirement Community, are making the season even brighter for children in need.
They recently kicked off a season of charity. Residents created raffle baskets with donations of jewelry, wreaths and more from the Blue Bell community. They also received two gifts for the baskets from PS Salon & Spa. The raffle baskets raised $242 for the Watermark for Kids charity, which empowers underserved kids to express their character, leadership, creativity, compassion and spirit. Watermark communities across the country each sponsor a deserving kid to help the recipient express his or her true self and thrive.
The residents also made their own donations of toys for Toys for Tots and encouraged their neighbors to work to fill the box.

Neil Farber of Celebrations Disc Jockey emceed the event. As residents danced, listened to music and played trivia, they embraced the notion of “doing well by doing good.”
Residents at Blue Bell Place said they consider themselves grateful for what they have and want to share their thankfulness by giving back to the community.
