Copper Theft, Burglary Reported in Whitpain Township

Theft of Copper: On April 8 at 1:30 p.m., police were called to Beachcomber Swim Club, 652 Dekalb Pike, for a theft of copper piping. The date of the theft was unknown, but it was also reported that sometime in February, two security cameras were also damaged and / or stolen.
Burglary: On March 30 at 11:18 p.m., police responded to the unit block of Ramsgate Court for a report of a burglary that was just discovered. The victims reported that the burglary occurred sometime between 6:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The investigation determined that access was made through a rear window, and the unknown actor(s) left through the rear sliding glass door. The residents reported that over $1,700 worth of electronics equipment, credit cards and checks were taken from the residence.
Township Ordinance Violation: On April 4, police were called to the area of Mara Drive and Ferguson Lane for a report of a subject soliciting door to door.

Officers located Leon Miller, 21, of the 6800 block of Forrest Avenue, Philadelphia, who advised he was allegedly soliciting business for Power Home Remodeling Group without a valid permit.
Mr Miller was cited for a violation of Township Ordinance Section 110-1.
