DUI, Retail Theft Reported in Whitpain

DUI: On Feb. 25 at 1:38 a.m., an officer was following a silver Nissan on Dekalb Pike that was allegedly being driven in an erratic manner. When the officer stopped the Nissan on Dekalb Pike at Morris Road, he allegedly noticed that the driver – Viet Hoang Le, 23, of the 3600 block of Wharton Street, Philadelphia – was intoxicated.

Le was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital for blood testing, and charges including DUI and traffic offenses will be filed once the blood results are returned.

Retail Theft: Zelda Greenberg, 78, of the 500 block of Laurel Lane, Blue Bell, was arrested for retail theft on Feb. 19 at 3:04 p.m., after she attempted to steal $265 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s Department Store on Skippack Pike.
