Four Local Runners Confirmed OK After Boston Marathon Explosions

The cause of the explosions in unknown at this time. The status of at least three other local runners remains unconfirmed.

Dozens of people were injured by two explosions near the Boston Marathon finish line around 3 p.m. today. There are multiple reports of victims with missing limbs, bloodied heads and other extremely serious injuries. 

According to the Backbay Patch, Boston Police are currently reporting 22 injured, two dead. 

At least seven local runners from our area were participating in the marathon, and many of their conditions are currently unknown. Below you will find a list of local participants, as well as updates on their status as information becomes available.
