Former Wissahickon Middle School Teacher Admits to Child Endangerment
Ronald Goldberg, 65, of Towyn Court, Lower Gwynedd, inappropriately touched one student during the 2003-04 school year and a second victim in the 2008-09 school year. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
Dr. Ronald Goldberg, 65, of the 200 block of Towyn Court, Lower Gwynedd, admitted to inappropriately touching two sixth-grade girls while employed as a teacher at Wissahickon Middle School between 2003 and 2009, per The Reporter.
Goldberg pleaded guilty Wednesday in Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas to two misdemeanor counts of child endangerment, according to court records.
Goldberg touched the girls during school hours, in a teachers' lounge and in a classroom, according to the article.
A background investigative report will be completed on Goldberg prior to sentencing. He faces between five to 10 years in prison.
In the 2003-04 school year, Goldberg touched a now 20-year-old former student on her breasts, buttocks and vagina twice in the teachers lounge and in a classroom, according to the report. The victim reported the incidents to her parents in 2004.
The second victim, now 15, reported Goldberg touched her throughout the 2008-09 school year, placing his hand in her underwear and offering her money for lunch and to buy a yearbook, per the report.
