Hit-and-Run, Harassment Reported in Ambler

Hit and Run: On May 1 at 8 p.m., a vehicle belonging to a Lansdale woman was damaged while it was parked near the intersection of East Butler Avenue and North Spring Garden Street.
The vehicle sustained damage along the front bumper on the driver's side, and there was a black paint transfer.

Harassment: On April 27 at 10:38 p.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 100 block of Forest Avenue.
Police encountered a resident – identified as 51-year-old Janice Trunk – who was screaming at another person. Trunk allegedly ignored orders to calm down, and continued to run at the other person. Trunk also screamed profanity towards police, the report states.

After allegedly ignoring additional commands, police placed Trunk in handcuffs and took her into custody where she was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment.
She was processed and later released.
Harassment: On May 6 at 10:12 a.m., Michael Lilly, 20, of the 200 block of South Main Street, was arrested and cited after police responded to a domestic incident.
