Man Steals $330 in Razor Blades from Giant, Violates Parole: Police

Troy Dean, 43, of the 500 block of Washington Avenue, was arrested in September by Philadelphia Police for the alleged Aug. 23 theft.

A North Wales Borough man sits in Graterford prison on a parole violation, after being charged with allegedly stealing more than $300 in razor blades from Giant in Whitpain Township.
Police said Troy Dean, 43, of the 500 block of Washington Avenue, allegedly stole $337.87 in razor blades on Aug. 23 at the market at 1760 DeKalb Pike.
The theft was discovered two days later, police said.
Whitpain Police issued a warrant for Dean's arrest, and it was Philadelphia Police who arrested Dean on Sept. 18, police said.
Dean was taken to Graterford on a parole violation, police said. He was later arraigned on retail theft and receiving stolen property charges, police said.
