No New Taxes Proposed in 2014 in Lower Gwynedd Township
The latest 2014 $6.4 million budget shows earned income tax accounting for 54 percent of revenues.

In the latest 2014 budget draft, Lower Gwynedd Township supervisors continue a fiscal plan of having no tax increase next year, per The Ambler Gazette.
The no tax increase plan means the real estate tax would remain at $428 for a home valued at $350,000 in the township, per the report.
Lower Gwynedd is looking at a $6.4 million budget for 2014. Earned income tax will generate about 54 percent of revenues. The police department accounts for more than half of expenses in the 2014 budget.
A little more than $191,000 is being set aside for fire protection, with a $15,000 donation headed for the Community Ambulance Association of Ambler, per the article.
