No Tax Increase, But Potentially Higher Sewer Bill in Whitpain Township

The proposed 2014 budget shows a steady tax rate of 3.2 mills, and predicts such through 2018.

Tax bills are expected to remain steady for the next five years in Whitpain Township, but sewer bills may be a different story.
According to The Times Herald, the flat tax rate was proposed by supervisors in the 2014 budget on Oct. 15, and a plan calls for the steady rate through 2018.
The current millage rate is 3.2 mills.
Sewer rates could have a midyear surcharge next year, with a rate hike in 2015, per the article.
