Philly Man Steals $297 in Razors from Blue Bell Giant: Police
Whitpain Township Police issued a warrant for the arrest of David Williams, 46, for the alleged theft.

A Philadelphia man allegedly stole $297 worth of razors from the Giant Food Store in Blue Bell, police said, after the ones he hid in an aisle and went back for were no longer there.
On Sept. 24, at 2:18 p.m., Whitpain Township police were called to the store at 1760 DeKalb Pike for a report of a suspicious incident that happened earlier in the day.
Police said loss prevention officers found a black man had entered the store, selected razors from a display and hid them in another aisle.
The next day, the same man returned to the store and realized the razors had been found, police said. So, he went to the razor display and allegedly concealed 10 packs of razors totaling $297, police said.
A Giant employee identified the man as David Williams, 46, of the 800 block of Broad Street, police said.
Williams, police said, was arrested for the same alleged violation in Upper Merion.
Police issued a warrant for Williams, who was nabbed by Norristown Borough Police on Oct. 3, police said.
