Political Signs Stolen, Vehicle Break-Ins Reported in Ambler

The following items contain information provided by the Ambler Borough Police Department. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction.

Theft: On April 24 at 9:36 a.m., a business in the 100 block of North Ridge Avenue reported that 20 of their tires were stolen. The snow tires are valued at $1500.

Theft: On April 29 at 3:55 p.m., a resident of the 300 block Mattison Avenue reported his political signs were stolen from the front of his property and a property at Valleybrook Road and Bethlehem Pike.

Theft: On April 30 at 11:13 a.m., a resident of the 200 block of North Main Street reported that sometime overnight, someone went in the center console of her unlocked vehicle and stole a Magellan GPS and power cord.

The GPS was valued at $200.

Vehicles Entered: On April 30 at 9 a.m., several residents throughout the borough reported that their unlocked vehicles were entered sometime over night, with a few of them reporting that change stolen.

Other vehicles were ransacked, but nothing was found missing.

In light of this, police are asking all borough residents to not leave anything of value in their vehicles, and to make sure their vehicles are secure when unoccupied.
