Spring House Intersection To Be Paved Overnight
Additional slowdowns and delays should be expected in the evening hours.

LOWER GWYNEDD TOWNSHIP, PA — Overnight paving operations will take place at the Spring House Intersection Monday night into Tuesday morning, officials said.
Work will begin at 7 p.m. on June 17 and conclude at 5 a.m. on June 18.
Normal work operations on the intersection will continue as regularly scheduled during the day hours, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Motorists driving late should expect additional slowdowns and delays as the work is completed.
The next phase of work involves the installation of stormwater management facilities on the Sumneytown Road side, continuing along Norristown Road. This construction is expected to be completed by the summer.

When completed, the improvements will include a widened Norristown Road and Sumneytown Pike, with additional through lanes in both the eastbound and westbound directions. New traffic signals, a concrete sidewalk, an improved trail, and ADA ramps will also be added.
