AMBLER, PA — Wissahickon High School moved to virtual instruction only on Wednesday after what authorities described as a "threat of violence" was received by the district.

Police and the school's administration are investigating the issue.

"While there is no evidence at this time that the threat is credible, out of an abundance of caution, instruction will take place virtually for one day while the investigation continues," the district said in a statement.
