Vandalism, Thefts Reported in Ambler

Reports from the Ambler Borough Police Department.

Vandalism: A resident of the 300 block of Lindenwold Avenue reported on April 9 that unknown actor(s) broke the rear window on the driver's side of their vehicle. The damage was valued at $300.

Theft: A resident of the 200 block of Jacobs Creek Road, Titusville, NJ, reported on April 12 at 5:26 p.m., that his son’s white IPhone 4S was stolen from the Ambler Skate Park. The cell phone is valued at $499.

Public Drunkenness: John McKeney was arrested and citied for public drunkenness at 9 p.m. on April 13, after police allegedly observed him unsteady on his feet and barely able to walk or talk.

McKeney was taken into custody and housed until sober. He was then cited and released.

Criminal Mischief: A resident of the 300 block of Ebony Court reported that during the afternoon of April 14, her sidewalk was vandalized with spray paint. 

Theft: A resident of the 200 block of Highland Avenue reported that on April 14 at 9 p.m., her purse was stolen from her patio.

Her purple purse contained her ID, credit cards and $40 in cash. 

ID Theft: A resident of the 300 block of Ebony Court reported on April 15 that a person(s) stole his identity, and has used his identity to establish accounts at three department stores.

The Investigation ongoing.
