Whitpain Electronics Recycling Event Scheduled for April
The event is open to the public.
On Saturday, April 27, Whitpain Township will host an electronics recycling event at Stony Creek Sports Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Accepted electronics include televisions, computer monitors, computer towers, laptops, printers, fax machines, keyboards, microwaves, television receivers, video game consoles, stereo and radio equipment, and much more. [click here to see the full list]
Prohibited items include mercury based smoke detectors, freon-based appliances and household hazardous materials like paint, lighter fluid or flammable materials.

The event is open to the public.
At the same time, the Whitpain Police Association will be sponsoring a document shredding event, but that is restricted to only township residents.
