Recent Vehicle Break-Ins Under Investigation in Whitpain

Theft from Vehicle: On April 7, police received a report from a resident on the 1000 block of Hemlock Drive that sometime overnight, someone stole a cell phone from his vehicle.
He reported that he parked his car in his driveway at approximately 6:30 p.m., and when he went out in the morning, the door was ajar and he discovered that his cell phone was missing.

Theft from Vehicle: On April 1 at 9:22 p.m., officers were called to the parking lot of Kohl’s Department Store for a report of a theft from a vehicle.
The victim reported that an iMac computer – valued at approximately $1,700 – along $80 in cash was stolen from her Nissan while it was parked between 7:50 p.m. and 9 p.m.

She reported that when she returned to her car, the rear door was ajar.
