Whitpain Road Rage Incident Leads to Citation for Hatfield Man
Joseph Carrig, 59, of Hatfield, broke a windshield wiper off of the victim's car when they wouldn't roll down the window following a minor accident.

On April 16 at 10:42 a.m., police were called to the area of Dekalb Pike and Skippack Pike for a report of a road rage incident that had just occurred.
The victim reported that after a minor accident, Joseph Carrig, 59, of the 100 block of Willow Drive, Hatfield, got out of his car and broke the windshield wiper on the victim’s car. Carrig then drove away, the report states.
Police spoke to Carrig, who allegedly admitted that after the accident, he walked up to the victim’s car, but the driver refused to roll down his window when he tried to speak with him. Carrig became so angry he broke the windshield wiper and drove away, according to the report.

Carrig was then cited for criminal mischief.
