WHITPAIN TAVERN ROBBED, MCCC PUT ON LOCKDOWN
Two men are wanted for robbing Whitpain Tavern's registers, employees and customers early Monday morning, fleeing in a stolen red Mustang, and crashing on the property of Montgomery County Community College. The robbers have not been captured.

DEMOCRATS WIN ALL OPEN SEATS ON AMBLER COUNCIL
It was a surprising turn of events for the Ward One, Ward Two and Ward Three races for Ambler Council. There will also be a new Democratic mayor (and the first female mayor) in Jeanne Sorg.

GOP INCUMBENTS OUSTED ON WISSAHICKON SCHOOL BOARD
Board President Young Park and Dick Stanton will not be returning in January, as Democrats were voted in Tuesday.

AMBLER COUNCIL PRESIDENT RESIGNS
In the wake of the election, it was announced that Ambler Council President Tony Isabella resigned in order to take a job at the wastewater treatment plant.
