"Being Wissahickon’s superintendent for the past decade has been the highlight of my professional career," Crisfield said in a statement. "Other than my teaching days in a classroom full of high school students, nothing has been as rewarding and fulfilling as being part of Wiss Nation these past ten years."
Crisfield added that there is still "important work to be done" in the coming months before he leaves, and that he will work to put Dawan in a good position to start off next school year.
