Wissahickon Senior Honored by Rotary Club of Blue Bell

Isabelle Helmich was honored by the Rotary Club of Blue Bell for her outstanding scholarship and her commitment to serving her fellow students.

The Ambler Patch would like to congratulate Wissahickon senior Isabelle Helmich on being honored by the Rotary Club of Blue Bell.

Helmich received a check for $250, as well as a plaque in recoginition of both her outstanding scholarship and her service to her fellow students.

A member of both the National Honor Society and the World Language Honor Society, Helmich spends much of free her time engaged in various community service projects. She also tutors younger students in Spanish, serves as a student representative to the Wissahickon School Board, and even runs with the high school track team.

Helmich also co-founded the Wissahickon Ambassador's Club, which helps new students acclimate to their new surroundings.

This upcoming fall, Helmich will attend Penn State's main campus in Happy Valley.
