Wissahickon to Induct Four New Members to High School Hall of Fame
On April 25, four former student-athletes will be inducted into Wissahickon's Hall of Fame.

Wissahickon High School will add four new members to their Hall of Fame during an induction ceremony on April 25.
The ceremony will be held in the high school auditorium at 6:30 p.m., with a reception to follow. All in the community are welcomed to attend.

- Charles Dougherty (Class of 1975)
- Played #1 Singles and captain of WHS tennis team.
- Attended Saint Joseph’s University and played #1 Singles and captain of the tennis team.
- Coached Marquette University High School tennis team to 1986 state championship.
- Frank Lexa (Class of 1976)
- Captain of Wissahickon High School swim team and National Merit Scholar.
- Attended and graduated with honors from Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton School of Business.
- Medical Professor at University of Pennsylvania, Drexel and business professor at Wharton.
- Scott Landis (Class of 1982)
- 1982 National High School Boys record in 4x800 Meter Relay.
- 2009 Masters World Indoor record in the 4x800 Meter Relay.
- 2010 Wissahickon School District Educator of the Year.
- Mary Scott Messa (Teacher and Coach)
- Three sport coach and 2007 Rotary Club Teacher of the Year.
- Coached the 1988 Women’s Basketball team to the state championship game.
- Consummate Volunteer at WHS in sports and extra-curricular activities
