A silver Chrysler – driven by Roy Gutshall, 55, of Blue Bell – was traveling northbound on Union Meeting Road and swerved to avoid the Kia, but was struck anyway. The Kia then continued across Township Line Road, through roughly 75 feet of dirt, before it struck a bridge.
The report states that Allison appeared to be intoxicated, and was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital for blood testing. Charges, including DUI and traffic offenses, will be filed once blood results are received, according to the report.
