WVPL Read-A-Thon Reaches $10,000 Fundraising Goal

The Wissahickon Valley Public Library reached their $10,000 fundraising goal during Saturday's 12-hour Read-a-thon, and as a result, they will now receive an additional $10,000 from a matching grant.

The fundraiser began at 9 a.m., and by its conclusion 12 hours later, volunteers and community leaders had exceeded their goal of reading for 1,000 minutes.
