City Ave Lanes Closing For St Joe's Pedestrian Bridge Work Next Week
City Avenue lanes will be closed in both directions Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. due to the bridge work, PennDOT said.
LOWER MERION-PHILADELPHIA, PA — More work on the St. Joseph’s University pedestrian bridge will take place next week, forcing lane closures in Lower Merion Township and Philadelphia.
PennDOT said A.P. Construction Inc. will perform bridge construction for the St. Joseph’s University pedestrian bridge on City Avenue/U.S. 1 in Lower Merion Township and Philadelphia.
City Avenue lanes will be closed in both directions Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The closures will be in place between Lapsley Lane and 59th Street.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
